Fox Custom Homes finished building my house in Gig Harbor WA in the summer of 2017. We have nothing but positive things to say about not only our house but the overall experience. I would recommend being extremely specific about what you want so it is very clear in your contract and having a tempered expectation about what building on your lot is like. Fox Custom Homes builds your house, everything else is up to you. When your excavation contractor screws up and digs your foundation too deep (like mine did) it is a problem that you alone have to deal with. The rippling issues (like delays) caused by things that a homeowner has to manage do happen and they are not the fault of the builder. Also, when your septic isn't inspected because the county is backlogged by several weeks causing a delay in the closing of your home (like it was in my case) it is again not the fault of the builder. I had VERY clear expectations for what building was going to be like and thus I was not upset or frustrated when setbacks occurred. I ended up with a house that is worth $175k more than I paid, I would do this again in a heartbeat.
